Introduction
You will be pleased to learn that the Contamination Control Society of India has been rejuvenated and several new activities are planned for the current year. This Society brings together on a single platform, manufacturers, and users of cleanroom equipment, instrumentation, consumables, furniture, panels, floorings, HEPA filters, validation contractors etc. It is an independent not-for-profit body, catering to the pharma and biotech industries, food processing, atomic energy, electronics, defence, education and research, consultants etc.
The objectives of the Society are:
- To promote the Arts and Science of Contamination Control by organising conferences, Seminars, Presentations, Workshops, Exhibitions, Lectures, Visits to Cleanroom facilities and other similar activities
- To disseminate information and knowledge on contamination control by circulating / publishing newsletters/publications and handouts.
- To encourage exports of the indigenously manufactured controlled environment and related equipment and supplies Worldwide.
- To propagate and represent the society on various national and international standard committees.
- To encourage and support Research & Development and continuing education training programme in the field of contamination control.
All those connected with the cleanroom field (including isolators / mini-environments) are welcome to join in their individual capacity. The membership fees have deliberately been kept low viz. ₹ 1500 entrance + ₹ 750/- per year. Please fill in the attached form and send your cheque/demand draft to the below address.
We regularly organize seminars, exhibitions, lectures by Indian and international experts, product presentations, training programmes, factory visits etc. As you have a major interest in the cleanroom industry, we encourage you to become a member. SSI registered firms should enrol at least one member and we would be happy if the larger organizations registered 3 to 5 members.
CCSI is now a member of ICCCS (International Confederation of Contamination Control Societies. Our Associate Level 2 day course with the exam and one-day Advanced Courses on Particle Counting & HEPA Filter Testing is now accredited to ICCCS and therefore have international recognition.
