The “third edition” of the Two Day Associate Level Certification Course on CLEANROOM TECHNOLOGY THEORY & PRACTICE was held in Mumbai on 30th & 31st July 2019 at Hotel VITS International. This course is officially accredited by International Confederation of Contamination Control Societies (ICCCS), Switzerland. Contamination Control Society of India (CCSI) is a member of ICCCS and our Chairman Sheesh Gulati is also Secretary of ICCCS.
Against a target of 10 participants, 14 candidates registered, of which all 14 appeared for and passed the written examination. Topics covered were:
- Airborne Particle Counting –Theory & Terminology
- Air Flow & Differential Pressure Measurement
- HEPA Filter Testing & Standards
- Understanding and Implementing New ISO 14644-1 & 2 Cleanroom Standards; EU GMP Annex 1 & ISO 14644-3 proposed revisions
- Cleanroom Protocol, Gowning & Housekeeping
- Airflow Visualisation Studies
- FAQs on Particle Counting & HEPA Filter Testing
- Practical Demonstration on the proper use of Particle Counter, Aerosol Photometer, SmokeGenerator, Air Capture Hood
The faculty comprised industry stalwarts Sheesh Gulati and Sant Advani, who between them have 100 years’ industrial experience.
