Contamination Control Society of India, supported by Indian Society of Heating Refrigeration & Airconditioning Engineers conducted ADVANCED Level Certification courses on the following subjects
- Particle Counting & Cleanroom Classification To ISO 14644-1:2015
- HEPA Filter Testing & Standards
Date: 22nd and 23rd June 2018
Venue: Hotel Kohinoor Continental, Mumbai.
These one-day courses covered both theory and practical training, followed by an exam.
The Particle Counting & Cleanroom Classification course covers the following topics:
- Basics of Particle Counting, Terminology, How particle counters work, types of particle counters
- Cleanroom Classification to ISO 14644-1:2015, reconciling ISO 14644-1 classification with EU GMP Annex 1
- Calibration of Particle Counters to ISO 21501-4; FAQs on Airborne Particle Counting
- Continuous Monitoring of Cleanrooms to revised ISO 14644-2:2015
- ISO/DIS 14644-3 & Proposed changes to EU GMP Annex 1
- Practical Demonstration of Particle Counting and Cleanroom Classification by Airborne Particle Concentration
The HEPA Filter Testing & Standards course deals with the following topics:
- Basics of Filtration
- Instrumentation for HEPA Filter Testing
- Installed Filter Leakage Testing, Filter Repairs, FAQs on HEPA Filter Testing
- Filter Testing Standards including ISO 14644-3, ISO 29463, ISO 21220, IEST Recommended Practices including CC034.4, CC021.4 etc.
- Hands-on Practical Training on Digital Aerosol Photometer with a printer, Laskin Nozzle Generator, Thermal Generator.
The above Training courses had a good success with 28 delegates, of whom 5 were from abroad. The faculty comprised Sheesh Gulati, Sant Advani with over 90 years of combined experience
MeasureTest took Tablespace and displayed below instruments.
- LWS Particle counters online/offline,
- ATI Aerosol Photometer & Generator and
- Concept Smoke Generator.
Working demos of various equipment connected to cleanrooms were also given by the table-top exhibitors.
Written exams were conducted at the end of the course on both days. Internationally recognized certificates issued to the successful candidates.
